These sites get built from what businesses have already put in public — a Facebook page, a Marketplace listing, product photos, reviews customers left. Nobody is asked first. That is the entire idea, and it means sometimes something ends up on a page that its owner would rather was not there.
If that's you, you do not need to explain yourself, prove anything, or involve anyone else. Ask, and it is removed the same day at no cost.
Who this is for
- Business owners — a site was built for you and you want it changed or gone.
- Photographers — you took a photo that is being used here.
- Customers and reviewers — you wrote a review that is quoted here and you would rather it was not.
- Anyone else who thinks something on one of these sites belongs to them.
What happens
Send the request. It is actioned within 24 hours and usually within the same day. Nobody is asked to prove ownership, because requiring proof would mean arguing with people about their own work — and the material was taken without asking in the first place, so the benefit of the doubt belongs to whoever is asking.
Whole site, one photo, one quote, your business name — any of it. Removal is permanent unless you ask for it back. You will not be contacted afterwards to be talked out of it, and there is no follow-up.
Nothing here is official
A site built here is not operated by, endorsed by, or affiliated with the business it features unless that business says otherwise. It is an unsolicited gift, not an official presence, and it can be disowned at any moment by the person it was made for.
